Summary:
Responsible for preparing accurate and timely project cost estimates for customers, dealers, and builders while supporting the sales process. Owns the customer relationship throughout the project lifecycle, from drafting down payment through production and shipping, ensuring a positive customer experience. Serves as the primary point of contact, providing regular and professional communication, addressing questions, and relaying critical project information. Collaborate with customers, builders, drafting and production teams to gather project requirements, improve process efficiencies, monitor project progress, and ensure successful project execution and delivery.

  • Analyze drawings and other documentation to prepare cost estimates.
  • Assist with calls from customers or dealer/builders as needed.
  • Complete and save pricing worksheets to determine the price for panel system and accessory items from plans or sketches supplied by Regional Sales Managers or customers.
  • Provides complete and accurate estimates or proposals for each project.
  • Strong desire to build and develop positive customer relationships.
  • Must communicate effectively both written and verbally, to build rapport with all parties involved in the project process. Coordinate communications between Regional Sales Managers, customers, builders, and Enercept drafting and production teams.
  • Collaborate with the drafting team to collect data/information required by the drafters to produce panel layout drawings and shop drawings.

  • Must have regular contact with customers and/or builders, building rapport, have knowledge of their site development, and how it integrates with our production process.
  • Process warranty questions and concerns.
  • Regularly update CRM platform notes on each project assigned to Project Manager.

  • Communicate with Enercept vendors and the drafting team to review shop drawings and act as the point of contact for Enercept vendors.

  • Issue PO's to suppliers and design professionals that contract with Enercept on given projects.
  • Follow up with customers post-delivery for feedback.
  • Handle complaints with appropriate departments concerning billing, quality, shipping or service provided.
  • Required to follow up with all complaints in a timely manner: communication should occur within 2-3 business days, and no longer than 2 weeks from the time of the notification.

Job Specific Competencies and Qualifications:

  • Associate, Bachelor’s degree or practical experience in Project Management and/or Estimating.

  • Knowledge of building and construction techniques and requirements.

  • 3-5 years previous experience in construction/manufacturing is preferred. Must be able to precisely read and understand drawings.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Adobe, self-directed, exceptional organization, effective communication skills, detail-oriented, mathematic skills, superior customer service skills, negotiation skills, teamwork mentality, willingness to learn, and ability to take initiative to resolve issues.
