Job Title: Production Manager
Reports To: Operations Manager
Summary:
Directs and manages all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, quality, and other production-related activities. The Production manager must show accountability, share innovative ideas, be proactive in all aspects and have a sense of urgency. This position plays a significant role in driving continuous process improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills. Salary depends on experience and qualifications
Essential Functions:

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day workflow of production staff.
- Manage and evaluate performance of production staff.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed in accordance with company policy.
- Oversee the production process to ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet customer’s needs.
- Ensure quality of materials entering and exiting the production line meet Enercept’s quality standards and customer specifications.
- Ensure appropriate production rate to reduce delivery delays.
- Collaborate with the sales, project management, and drafting departments to identify and resolve quality concerns.
- Identify bottlenecks or delays in production; ensures necessary labor, materials, and other resources are available to relieve production bottlenecks and delays.
- Investigate production issues and develop resolutions.
- Identify issues through continuous process improvements.
- Use production planning and scheduling to limit materials shortages.
- Ensure production machinery complies with professional and safety standards.
- Schedule maintenance and repair of machines used in production process to avoid downtime or delays.
- Operate at maximum potential to ensure on-time production delivery.
- Monitor production activities and adjust schedules for on-time delivery.
- Attend all company required trainings.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Job Specific Competencies and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED, minimum of 5 years of construction and manufacturing experience, and previous supervisory/management experience. Knowledge of budgets, process improvement programs, and procedures required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
- Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs. at a time.
Compensation
$80,000 - $100,000 per year
